Aladdin the Panto

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that currently I am in a show with The Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society. The show is called Aladdin the Panto. For those of you who don't know what a Pantomime is, it's a show that is written with British humor and is very audience involved. Winter is here!

Only 37 days left until Christmas! Can you believe it? Our weather has been so strange this past week. Yesterday; hailing, raining, sunny, hailing, raining, sunny, snowing! I think it's safe to say Winter is on its way or is already here! Gene so kindly got Starbucks for all of us which gave the Credit Union a warm toasty winter feeling! Mt. Lehman Fall Fair

Tomorrow is September 1st and I am reminded that school starts next week and I need to get that back to school shopping done. I am also reminded that the Mt. Lehman Fall Fair is coming! It's only August! Don't mention "that holiday" yet!!!

Although the sun is shining and butterflies are fluttering around it is this time of the year I start thinking of Christmas. Hot Hot Heat

AHHH, summer is well upon us now. Some are wishing for snow I hear. Not me. Of course, that's easy to say getting to work in the air conditioned niceness of the Credit Union. "To Err is human, but to really foul things up you'll need a computer..."

A member recited that quote to me this morning as we tried to do business as usual with our mail server down. We have been able to do transactions as normal but all that behind the scenes work that our members don't see, we haven't been able to do. Mt. Lehman Canada Day Parade

Hey, the July 1st, CANADA DAY Mt. Lehman Parade was great. Breakfast was as terrific as usual and the Abbotsford Concert Band played some great tunes. I think a great time was had by all. It was nice to see Mayor George Peary, Attorney General Mike De Jong and MP Ed Fast on the stage with their welcoming speeches. So Happy Canada Day to all!!! Continue
